"MAGANDANG PAGSASAMAHAN TUNGO SA MAAYOS AT MAUNLAD NA LIPUNAN"

"No man is an island." A simple, short and very well-known quotation yet very meaningful. The quotation I think best describes about the theme of Values Month celebration.
This November is the Values Month Celebration. The theme is, "Magandang Pagsasamahan Tungo sa Maayos at Maunlad na Lipunan." This means that through good relationship, we can attain an organized and progressive society. There are many ways on how to achieve an organized and progressive society. One is, we should keep on communicating to everyone so that we will understand each other and prevent riots or misunderstanding. Another is, we should help each other in doing such things so that, when time comes that we also need help, they are just there beside us, ready to help hand-in-hand. There are still many other ways to achieve a progressive society not mentioned but it's up on us on how to do it.
It's really true that there is no individual who can live alone. We all know that it is so hars, isn't it? All of us should have a companion so that in times that we need a partner, they are just there whom we can share our problems when we are in trouble!

" A SHORT TIME OF FUN AND ENJOYMENT"

What comes first to your mind when you hear the word "vacation"? By just thinking of it, many things come flashing to our minds. For me, it means fun and enjoyment.
Last October 21 and 22 was our Second Grading Periodical Examination. Then after the test, we had our Semestral Break or a one-week break. In that one-week, I haven't done too many activities. I just stayed at our house and play with my laptop and surf the internet. We also watch television and rent some cd's and dvd's. Then, we went to our grandmother's place. We played all-day long with my dear cousins because we haven't been there for more than a week. Then after the one-week vacation, it was already November 1 or the All Saint's Day. Our family went to the cemetery to visit our beloved late relatives. We lighted up some candles and offered some flowers to their tombs. After that, we said a little prayer and prayed for their souls. Then after two hours of staying there, we went home already. On November 2 or the All Soul's Day, we just stayed at home. We didn't go at the cemetery. Then the day after that, it was the start of classes again. It is also the start of Third Grading Period.
My activities during the Semestral Break was not that so many but I fully enjoyed a lot especially when we went at grandma's. Our next vacation will be again on December. I can't wait!! :D

"LEARN AND ENJOY!"

For this second quarter, I have fully understood the lectures and activities that we have tackled. One of these activities includes on how to do HTML files on the Notepad. This is the most tackled lecture that we are doing and discussing in the class during this period. I think, we had 8 activities in all. Another lessons that we have discussed are about the tags, HTML images, Font Attributes and other more.
Troubles? Problems? I have not encountered them during our second quarter because the hands-on activities were not so hard. They are just okay with me. It`s because I am listening to our subject teacher.
So, in order for me to improve more, I should listen and cooperate well in our class. No chit-chats with seatmates and friends. If I can all do this, I can accomplish all my tasks in this subjects without any much hesitation. I will just do my best because I know that our lessons are becoming harder and harder as time goes by.

"BREAKING BARRIERS THROUGH ENGLISH"

English is a language that is very known around the world for the reason that English is the international language. This language is used by many around the world. There are also many other languages in the world, but one thing is for sure, language is very much important to us because without language, we cannot communicate to others and we cannot also understand each other.
This September, we are celebrating the English Month. The theme is: "Breaking Barriers Through English". For me, this means that through our English language, we can break bars or we can destroy hinders/hindrances to our world's development. Many other countries or nationalities can understand or communicate to each other and that is with the help of English. By this, if all of us will be able to communicate by using the English language, our world will be fully-developed.
English language is very important to our lives because through this, we can share our ideas, opinions, feelings and other more to everyone in the world. Let's use our English language wisely and whole-heartedly to be able to destroy those hindrances for our world's development.

"FILIPINNOVATION, THE WAY FORWARD"

For the past generations, many inventions or creations were made by many. It was all being praised or criticized because of the inventor's creativeness and of the inventions usefulness to our daily lives and knowingly, everyone is allowed to do new things or inventions.
The theme for this Science Month's Celebration is: "Filipinnovation, the way forward". For my own understanding, the theme means that through Filipinos, we should make something new to be able to go through or move forward to the top in order for us Filipinos to be known through the whole wide world. There are already the countries like Russia, America, China, Japan and more other countries that have successfully contributed a lot in the field of Science and Technology. But now, it's our turn Filipinos, to innovate or introduce new methods/devices and make changes to contribute in the field of Science. We can do this through inventing such wonderful and unique things by simply using our own imaginations and many more. If this would happen, our creations would be known throughout the whole wide world and we can also be known in history to let the next generations know that Filipinos contributed something.
So from now on, we can start making myriads of new things so that us Filipinos, will be widely known throughout the world in the field of Science and we can do it starting right now.....

"MY TEACHER, MY HERO"

Every teacher is a hero. Know why? It`s because they play a very important role in the community. They are teaching us as hard as they can within five days in a week. It`s so hard, right? But, one thing is for most, they also play as our second parents if we are outside our home and when we are inside our schools.
For me, teacher is a hero because as what I have said, their job is to teach us, students to be able to become successful gentlemen and ladies in the near future. They are teaching us the lessons or lectures that we don`t know yet in our daily lives. If there are no teachers, there are also no doctors, engineers, lawyers, nurses and much more. Teachers are also heroes because they spend more time on school by teaching us than the time that they consume on their homes together with their families. So, teachers are considered as heroes because of their sacrifices for us, as their loving students.
In return, we can express our gratitude and thankfulness by listening to them attentively. Let`s avoid having chit-chats with our seatmates or friends during discussion times. Let`s remember always that through this way of expressing our gratitude, we can make them glad or happy. I believe that teacher are really heroes!

"LEARNING IS SO MUCH FUN"

In this first quarter, I have learned to create a blog, I have discovered the brief history of internet, the Internet services & tools, major components, about the website, definition of blog and its types/kinds, the computer architectures and the page address/Uniform Resource Locator (URL).
Well, for me, I think I don`t have any problems or challenges that I have encountered nearly because the lessons/lectures are easy and fun to learn.
As I have said a while ago, I haven`t meet any problems or challenges so, there is no way to address them.
Moving on, I will study and listen to our teacher harder on the next quarters to be able to understand the lectures and hands-on activities clearly. If some of my classmates won`t understand the lessons, I am willing to teach them the things that they don`t know to be able for them to catch-up with the lessons. I also wish that our lessons on the next quarters will be more fun and will become a memorable experience throughout our lives!

"Sa Pangangalaga ng Wika at Kalikasan, Wagas na Pagmamahal Talagang Kailangan"

This August is the celebration of the "Buwan ng Wika." This event reminds us about our national language which is the Filipino language. Our language is as important as our dear nature because we can get so many things in here, right?
Language is so much important to all of us because without language, we will not understand each other. So, as a true Filipino citizen, we should apply our love in speaking. We need to show it and be proud of what we are right now. This month of August`s theme is "Sa Pangangalaga ng Wika at Kalikasan, Wagas na Pagmamahal Talagang Kailangan." This theme refers to us and to our environment.
In return, we have to love and care for our language. We should give it importance. Most of all, let us not take it for granted.

"Sa Pagkaing Tama at Sapat, Wastong Timbang ni Baby ang Katapat"

"Sa Pagkaing Tama At Sapat, Wastong Timbang Ni Baby Ang Katapat"

How do you keep yourself healthy? People think of health as physical well-being. How can you tell if a person is healthy? Being healthy means not being sick. It means more than being physically fit.
Our body needs maintenance. It is like a machine that needs constant care and check-up. You need to take care of your body to keep it in good and healthy condition. The degree of health affects your looks, feelings and actions. It also affects how you work.
Your health is affected by things that surround you. Air pollution and water pollution can cause diseases and make people sick. Several junk foods are sold in different stores. These are not good for your heart and body. Some people do not have enough exercise. There are also people who lack sleep, most specifically those who work in the evening. So, when do you say you are healthy? What do you need to keep yourself healthy?

Letter to the President

Dear Mr. President,

Greetings, Mr. President!!! First of all, I would like to congratulate you for being the newly-elected president of the Philippines. I know that it is such an honor to be a president of a one country because you are the highest officer of our society with little or no executive power. Well,as a citizen of our country, we have the right to express ourselves and we are also free to tell or share our own opinions or comments and if I will be given the chance to do this, I may not have any second thoughts to tell you what I want because it is also for our country and the betterment of other people of citizens.
First on the list is about the crisis that is happening to us, Filipinos. May I request that can you please decrease or turn the prices of each item into affordable ones? It's because they are so extravagant now. I think, this is the main problem of the Philippines now, the crisis. Next one is about the education. I notice that every year, the tuition fee is becoming higher. Especially the college students, Mr. President. The number of working students also climbed up compared to the other past school years. They do this just to study in school. Next one is the spreading of the so-called "Jejemons." If this habit is snubbed, jejemons will spread widely until those jejemons will only understand each other. Would you like that, Mr. President? So,make a move now against them as long as it's early yet. The last but not the least on the list is your smoking habit. Why won't you stop that? Is there anything that you will lose if you stop that? Even when you're not behind that scenes or camera, you're still doing it and many people sees you. Make a change now, especially that you're the president of our country.
Well, Mr. President, my letter ends up in here already. I hope you'll give an early action for these main problems of our country. Again, good luck and congratulations to you, Mr. President.

Sincerely yours,
Denmark Tabuso
