"Sa Pagkaing Tama at Sapat, Wastong Timbang ni Baby ang Katapat"

"Sa Pagkaing Tama At Sapat, Wastong Timbang Ni Baby Ang Katapat"

How do you keep yourself healthy? People think of health as physical well-being. How can you tell if a person is healthy? Being healthy means not being sick. It means more than being physically fit.
Our body needs maintenance. It is like a machine that needs constant care and check-up. You need to take care of your body to keep it in good and healthy condition. The degree of health affects your looks, feelings and actions. It also affects how you work.
Your health is affected by things that surround you. Air pollution and water pollution can cause diseases and make people sick. Several junk foods are sold in different stores. These are not good for your heart and body. Some people do not have enough exercise. There are also people who lack sleep, most specifically those who work in the evening. So, when do you say you are healthy? What do you need to keep yourself healthy?

Letter to the President

Dear Mr. President,

Greetings, Mr. President!!! First of all, I would like to congratulate you for being the newly-elected president of the Philippines. I know that it is such an honor to be a president of a one country because you are the highest officer of our society with little or no executive power. Well,as a citizen of our country, we have the right to express ourselves and we are also free to tell or share our own opinions or comments and if I will be given the chance to do this, I may not have any second thoughts to tell you what I want because it is also for our country and the betterment of other people of citizens.
First on the list is about the crisis that is happening to us, Filipinos. May I request that can you please decrease or turn the prices of each item into affordable ones? It's because they are so extravagant now. I think, this is the main problem of the Philippines now, the crisis. Next one is about the education. I notice that every year, the tuition fee is becoming higher. Especially the college students, Mr. President. The number of working students also climbed up compared to the other past school years. They do this just to study in school. Next one is the spreading of the so-called "Jejemons." If this habit is snubbed, jejemons will spread widely until those jejemons will only understand each other. Would you like that, Mr. President? So,make a move now against them as long as it's early yet. The last but not the least on the list is your smoking habit. Why won't you stop that? Is there anything that you will lose if you stop that? Even when you're not behind that scenes or camera, you're still doing it and many people sees you. Make a change now, especially that you're the president of our country.
Well, Mr. President, my letter ends up in here already. I hope you'll give an early action for these main problems of our country. Again, good luck and congratulations to you, Mr. President.

Sincerely yours,
Denmark Tabuso
